Smoky Mountain Spinnery
Gatlinburg
Smoky Mountain Spinnery is a center for the fiber arts creative soul. We focus on spinning, weaving, knitting, crocheting, rug hooking (and punching), felting and dyeing. We have been in business for 25 years and hope to continue to inspire visitors to get outside their "box" and do something different. Miss Ruby greets you (if you enter the shop by way of the stairs on the west end of the building) as she weaves on an antique floor loom. If you enter by way of the handicap ramp on the east end of the building, grazing sheep will greet you before turning into the magical world of Smoky Mountain Spinnery.

Location
Smoky Mountain Spinnery is located in Winery Square in Gatlinburg - the gateway city to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Because Gatlinburg is a high-traffic area please allow at least 30 minutes more time than your GPS estimates for your travel time to our shop.
Parking
Winery Square has an open parking lot where you can park for free. There are also free parking spaces behind the shop; these are best if you need handicap accessible parking spaces because the handicap ramp comes up from this parking area.
