Welcome to The Yarn Patch! While our doors first opened in 2006, a new chapter began in 2019 when Heather took the helm. What started as a way to meet new friends through a knit-and-crochet group quickly grew into a passion for fiber arts. That spark of creativity blossomed into a dream of owning her own yarn shop.

Since becoming the owner, Heather has transformed The Yarn Patch into something truly special. We now call a beautifully renovated 100-year-old building home, right in the heart of Main Street, Crossville. The bright, spacious location has allowed us to grow in exciting ways, especially in expanding our selection of felting, spinning, and weaving supplies.

Heather's passion for these traditional fiber arts even took her to Ashford, in New Zealand, where she deepened her knowledge of these time-honored crafts. One of our proudest additions has been the launch of her own line of hand-dyed yarns.

This year, Heather’s adventure continues as she dives deeper into her craft, always eager to learn more and share her discoveries with friends and customers alike. The Yarn Patch isn’t just a store—it’s a place where creativity, community, and tradition come together.
